Traffic Signals
- Red light:
- When the traffic signal displays a red light, a driver must come to a stop at the marked stop line.
- Marked stop line- the thick, painted line before an intersection.
- If there is no marked stop line, a driver should stop before entering the crosswalk.
- If there is no crosswalk, a driver should stop before entering the intersection.
- Do not proceed until the light is green & intersection is clear.
- Yellow Light:
- The yellow light warns that the traffic signal is changing from green to red.
- When the red light appears, you may not enter the intersection.
- Green Light:
- When the traffic signal displays a green light, you may proceed.
- Always yield the right-of-way to any pedestrians and vehicles in the intersection or crosswalk.
