- Perception Distance (the distance and time it takes you to realize that a hazard exists)
- Reaction Distance (the distance and time it takes you to switch pedals from the accelerator to the brake)
- Braking Distance (the distance and time it takes the vehicle’s braking system to bring the car to a complete stop)
