Turning and Parking are skills that can be challenging for most new drivers. The ability to execute turns and parking maneuvers properly requires practice, good judgment and knowledge of traffic laws. With dual Breaking equipped vehicles and our experienced instructors you will not feel scared as you learn to perform these maneuvers for the first time.

OPTION 1

EXECUTING A TURN

– Making proper turns can be a daunting task. Before making a turn check the roadway, choose the correct lane, communicate your intentions, and position the car correctly. Prepare for the turn 200-300 feet in advance of the intersection.

PERPENDICULAR PARKING

– Most common type of parking especially in parking lots. The parking spaces are angled at 90 degrees to the curb or line. This kind of parking tends to be tricky because there is very little room for maneuvering and it’s hard to see at that angle.

PARALLEL PARKING

– Commonly used when parking along the street. Parallel parking seems hard at first but in most case all it takes is practice and before you know it yu are an expert.

ANGLED PARKING

– You will mostly see this kind of parking in city buildings and along smaller city streets. The parking spaces are set at 30 to 90 degrees to the curb or line.
